Forter provides a sandbox environment and other tools to test every step of the integration and verify the data is being sent correctly, so that you can be confident that everything is working as it should.

You can access your Sandbox and Production Site Id by going directly to the [Credentials](https://portal.forter.com/app/integration/credentials/ "Credentials") page and clicking on the toggle next to your site name on the upper right-hand corner of the page.

- Your dedicated Forter implementation team will generate an API schema taylored to your specific market, vertical, and checkout flow. You can find this by [logging into the](https://portal.forter.com/login?authType=archbee "logging into the") documentation site.

- Once you've identified the schema version you should point to, visit your Cartridge Business manager Merchant Tools > Site Preferences > Custom Preferences and click on the **Forter** option

- On the next page, scroll to the **API Version** section, and type in the version that corresponds to the published API version in your Forter portal then click on the **Save** button on the upper right-hand of the page.
