Android Manifest - Mobile SDKs

The Forter Android SDK requires internet access to operate. If you haven’t already included these permissions in your AndroidManifest.xml file, please add the following lines:

<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.INTERNET"/>
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE"/>

These permissions are commonly included in most Android applications, so you have likely already added them.

Install Referrer (Recommended)

We recommend adding the Install Referrer receiver to your manifest. This allows Forter to capture the source of the app install.

Add the following code to your app's manifest:
