# Social Network IDs

## [Social network connectors:](https://docs.forter.com/mobile-sdks/social-network-ids#social-network-connectors) Social network connectors:

If your app is using social network connectors/3rd-party authentication mechanisms, please provide us the account ids received from those 3rd-party services.

You can provide us those ids as well, using the setAccountUID method with the relevant ID type.
For example: If you use Facebook's social connector, you can provide us the account id by calling:

```java
ForterSDK.getInstance().setAccountUID(ForterAccountIDType.FACEBOOK_ID, facebookAccountId);
```

**Attention:** please, DO NOT PROVIDE [PII](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Personally_identifiable_information) as an identifier.

If you use the user's email address as a user ID, **please encode/hash it before sending**.
