Primer Dispute Webhook - Overviews

Primer Dispute Webhook

How to provide Forter access to your Primer Dispute Webhooks. To enable Forter to process your chargebacks, please integrate with Forter by following these steps.

If you are leveraging Forter's Chargeback Recovery_or_Coverage services, you will also need to set up each PSPs webhooks as well (ie. if you leverage Stripe through Primer you will also need to set upStripeon its own)

  1. Access the Developers section within the Dashboard Area of Primer.

  2. Click the button to create a new webhook. A pop-up form will appear: Enter a name for your webhook. We suggest something meaningful like "Forter Dispute Webhook."

  3. In the URL textbox, enter: https://api.forter-secure.com/webhooks/primer/disputes/ using the site ID from the Credentials section of Forter Portal.

  4. Check the Dispute option and click Add

  5. Please make sure to register only to status events as Opened are not relevant/supported.

  6. Create a signing secret and share it with Forter

If you have already done this for the Primer Payment Webhook, the same signing secret is used, and you can skip this step. Navigate to the Webhooks section on the Developers page of the Primer Dashboard. Then, select the Webhook signing button.

Save the signing secret to a .txt file with the file naming convention "JCBR-yourSiteName-processorName" (e.g. "JCBR-TShirtsExpress-Primer") and upload it securely to your S3 folder. Please notify your Forter Implementation Engineer once you have uploaded these files. Your Forter Implementation Engineer will securely add your secret key to the Forter database and let you know when this step is complete.

While you are logged in, it is recommended to also set up your Primer Payment Webhook
