Primer Payment Webhook

  1. Access the Developers section within the Dashboard Area of Primer.

  2. Click the button to create a new webhook. A pop-up form will appear: Enter a name for your webhook. We suggest something meaningful like "Forter's Payment Webhook."

  3. In the URL textbox, enter: https://api.forter-secure.com/webhooks/primer/status/<your-forter-site-id> Retrieve your site ID from the Credentials section of Forter Portal

  4. Check the "Status update" and "Refund" options and click "Add"

  5. Navigate to the Webhooks section on the Developers page of the Primer Dashboard. Then, select the Webhook signing button.

  6. Select the create signing secret button which will then generate your new signing secret. If you have already done this for the Primer Dispute Webhook , the same signing secret is used, and you can skip the next steps.

  7. Copy the signing secret and upload it securely to your S3 folder in a .txt file.

Notify us that the webhook is enabled and we'll verify everything looks good on our end.

While you are logged in, it is recommended to also set up your Primer Dispute Webhook .
